José holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Seville (1988) and a Master's degree in Food Business Management from San Telmo Business School (2015). Felicia Ion, Commercial Director & Economist at COMCEREAL VRANCEA, Romania

Felicia has been active in the agricultural sector for 16 years, including 15 years of experience in the milling industry, where she gained deep knowledge of grain processing and supply chain management. Recently, she decided to transition into farming and grain trading, joining Comcereal Vrancea with the goal of developing and scaling up operations. She is passionate about creating efficient, sustainable agricultural systems and building strong partnerships across the agri-business value chain.

Andrei Machuganov, Sales & Marketing Manager at AJD Agro, Bulgaria

AJD Agro group of companies is an agribusiness holding, which produces grains, oilseeds and forage crops. The group operates an animal feed processing factory/one of a kind in Bulgaria/ that dehydrates and processes alfalfa and straw into bales and pellets. These products are exported to more than 20 countries all over the world. Andrei Machuganov is a key figure and is involved in all the activities in the companies. Malak Al Akiely, CEO & International Trade Strategist at Golden Wheat for Grain Trading, Jordan

Malak is the Founder and Managing Director of Golden Wheat for Grain Trading, a leading grain supplier in Jordan and the MENA region. With over 18 years in commodity trading, she specializes in food security, sustainable agriculture, and resilient supply chains across markets such as Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Libya.
She also co-leads Golden Kayan for Marketing Consulting, focused on the energy sector. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Malak serves on several strategic boards and advises on sustainable finance, ESG, and economic reform. Her work spans international forums, policy platforms, and leadership networks.

Iliya Prodanov is the Chairman of NGPA and adviser in the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Iliya Prodanov studied Law at Veliko Tarnovo University, but all his work is now in the field.
He is a hereditary grain producer, and the family farm cultivates 1200 hectares of land in four plots in two municipalities - Burgas and Kameno.
Legal knowledge helps him in the field of agriculture, in which they have been working for over 15 years.
"The biggest university is the field," Iliya Prodanov told the media some time ago.
In 2020, he was awarded "Young European Farmer 2019".
Until 2023 Prodanov was the chairman of the Association "Union of grain producers "Markeli" - Karnobat.
Since April of this year, he has been elected chairman of the NGPA(National Grain Producer Association) Management Board, and in June he joined the team of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food in his role as an adviser.

Prof. Dr. Nadya Kostova, Managing Director at Activ, Bulgaria

Nadya is the Managing Director of the consulting and auditing firm Activ Ltd. and a recognized expert in accounting, financial auditing, and business valuation. She is a certified public accountant and registered auditor with over 25 years of professional experience, as well as a certified lecturer in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). She holds a license as a business appraiser and is listed in the official registers of the Chamber of Independent Appraisers and the Registry Agency.
As a Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Economics – Varna, Prof. Kostova combines her academic work with active professional practice. She is a member of the Expert Council at the Commission for Public Oversight of Registered Auditors and a licensed sustainability auditor authorized to provide assurance on sustainability reporting.
