Grain Academy 2025

1
Text
This year’s edition of Grain Academy will center on the dynamics of a grain market shaped by record-breaking winter crops in the Balkans, fierce international competition, and a return to more “normal” trade patterns. As harvest pressure builds and demand remains patient, we will examine whether the industry is truly prepared to operate in an environment of ample supply, stable demand, and muted volatility.
At the core of the agenda will be a sharp focus on farmers’ profitability amidst these changing conditions. We will also spotlight risk management strategies using tools like the MATIF and CME CVB wheat futures contracts, and discuss the growing role of market consolidation, especially as processing and port infrastructure continues to expand in Romania and Bulgaria. With a spotlight on the Trans-Balkan trade structures, the conference will foster in-depth exploration of regional supply chains, logistics, and trade flows—offering a 360-degree view of the forces reshaping the grain and oilseeds business in 2025.

More than just an annual event, Grain Academy remains a collaborative space for sharing ideas and shaping sustainable, efficient strategies for the future of global grain trade. The event continues to hold a prestigious position as a recognized platform for the most up-to-date analyses, forecasts, and discussions regarding trends and developments in the markets of grains and oilseeds.
We look forward to hosting you at the 9th International Grain Academy Conference, this October in Varna, Bulgaria—for what promises to be another insightful, relevant, and unmissable gathering for the agribusiness community.
